Project Overview

Hong Kong International Airport is the largest single contract in JJHI's track record: 10,000 tonnes of excavation steelwork delivered in 2021. The package supported deep excavation and temporary works at one of the world's busiest airports, where dimensional accuracy, traceability and delivery reliability are non-negotiable.

Members were detailed, cut, assembled and welded in our 32,000 m2 manufacturing base, then shot-blasted, coated and packed for shipment. JJHI returned to the same site in 2022 to deliver a further 1,000 tonnes of jacking tower steelwork.

Scope of Work

  • Fabrication detailing and shop drawings from customer design
  • Box members, columns, bracing and lattice elements
  • 6 kW laser cutting, CNC drilling and robotic welding
  • Shot blasting and protective coating systems
  • Safe packing and sea transport to Hong Kong
  • Whole-process inspection with dimensional records
