Project Overview

Nanjing Victory Park is a commemorative public venue built around large, exposed steel structures. JJHI fabricated and delivered 1,300 tonnes of steelwork for the memorial, with members left visible and finished to architectural standards.

The contract was completed in 2020 and the structure was topped out that year. Exposed steel places higher demands on weld appearance, straightness and coating consistency than conventional covered frames.

Scope of Work

  • Architectural exposed steelwork with finish inspection
  • Heavy steel members, trusses and support frames
  • Welding, straightening and controlled surface preparation
  • Protective and architectural coating systems
  • Packing and domestic delivery to site
